Eggcubism
'When you walk around a painted egg carton, the images overlap each other. This creates an interesting and unexpected distortion that leaves room for the observer's imagination. Egg Cubism encourages active observation and a constant change of position and focus. The combination of direct and indirect observation breaks the mold of traditional observation. You could say that the image as a whole is only completed in the mind of the viewer. What is not seen is integrated by the subconscious. Painted egg cartons bring out our consciousness.' (Enno de Kroon)
